Maryann Sahoury - Experienced Marketing and Events Director

Maryann Sahoury served as Director of Marketing and Special Events with Parisi Fitness Centers for nearly a decade, ending her affiliation in 2010. Many of Ms. Sahoury’s responsibilities in this position involved developing positive relations with area churches, chambers of commerce, charities, and nonprofit organizations. She coordinated annual Parisi Fitness Centers-sponsored fundraisers with these groups and institutions. The health club locations she represented were in Midland Park, Fair Lawn, Morris Plains, Garwood, and Wayne, New Jersey. Maryann Sahoury also undertook numerous awareness-raising initiatives on behalf of nonprofit organizations such as Toys for Tots, the American Cancer Society, Drums from Heaven, the American Heart Association, and the Community FoodBank of New Jersey. The latter organization operates from Hillside, New Jersey, fighting hunger and poverty through food distribution and outreach initiatives. 

Ms. Sahoury’s duties with Parisi Fitness Centers included handling company events such as quarterly and annual staff meetings, and employee holiday parties. She also offered sales staff member support, developing the company’s full range of internal and external promotional pieces. These drove new revenue channels through membership campaigns and related promotions. Maryann Sahoury undertook liaison responsibilities, coordinating website marketing approaches and managing Parisi Fitness Centers’ social media presence. 

Ms. Sahoury maintains ties with many community charities, including the Second Chance Pet Adoption League, which holds regular pet-adoption days at its Morris Plains clinic. The organization’s Facebook page offers regular Petfinder updates with photos of adoption-ready dogs. Maryann Sahoury recently earned a B.A. in Psychology from William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey.
